When you use the 'NEW TOPIC' button at the top of the main page, make sure you select the correct category where your post should go from the Drop Down Menu. Otherwise ALL New Topics end up in the TAXONOMY Section.
I caught this Fly at Emu Bottom (30/3/22) 4 photos
I found this very small fly dead on the outdoor coffee table at home yesterday (6/4/22) , I believe it is of the Bristle Fly Family . (3 photos)
These next 8 photos are of two similar flies from the Wombat State Forest , i caught some on and some near these mushrooms , i don't know if they feed off them or were just sunning themselves ...... mystery solved .... they are Fungas Flies , Tapeigaster annulipes . See Fungas Flies for further photos , i have caught a few of these now and they all look a bit different from each other.
Caught this very small Fly hanging around in my Mealworm container today (22/4/22) . It would be lucky to be 3mm head to tail . (2 photos)

Very similar to the previous fly but it has darker lines on it's abdomen and different coloured eyes . Wombat State Forest(16/4/22) 1 photo.
