When you use the 'NEW TOPIC' button at the top of the main page, make sure you select the correct category where your post should go from the Drop Down Menu. Otherwise ALL New Topics end up in the TAXONOMY Section.
"We are looking for an invertebrate conservation biologist - ideally with knowledge and experience of species adapted to arid ecosystems. The person would provide technical backstopping, advice and guidance to the Terrestrial Directorate of the National Center for Wildlife - with a specific focus on invertebrate species. The person would have energy and enthusiasm and ability to work well under pressure in a challenging work environment. S/he will have specific knowledge and experience in the following areas: a) carrying out surveys (for presence/absence, abundance, distribution), b) a broad range of invertebrate taxonomy perhaps with a focus on one or more relevant groups, c) the development of species (or any relevant classification level) conservation status and action plans - with demonstrated experience in their implementation. S/he has a PhD with at least 12 years of relevant experience."
