Photos 1 - 7 :- Caught these two in the Wombat on the 29/1/23 , they were both inside very rotton logs . I've set them up in my old Fighting Fish tank , both are eating already . I think they are Teranodes montanus , of the Family Hexathelidae .
Photo 9 :- I've posted this photo of a page out of my "Guide to the Spiders of Australia " that mentions the pale chevrons on their abdomen , this is the only reference I've been able to find so far .
Photos 10 & 11 - two shots of the right Spider before and after i dropped a Mealworm Beetle in it's opening .
Photos 12 & 13 - This is the Spider in the right side of the twin tank from photos 10 and 11 , you will notice in photo 13 you can see some green stones , in the 3 previous shots her tunnel wasn't very deep but now she has gone right to the bottom and out of sight .
